By late yesterday afternoon, the Gould house was reduced to this pile of rubble. The excavator operator broke it down into manageable pieces for loading and disposal. Soon it will be hauled away.

I remember that John Philbrick lived in that house years ago. I think he had a large vegetable garden in the swale between the road and the railroad tracks. Hannah Bowler also lived there. She was the librarian in the Stewart Library.

 

Now only the Odd Fellows Hall remains.
