Lately, in Corinna...

Taken from downstream, this picture shows the south side of the new Route 7 in Corinna. On the left the old riverbed comes out from box culverts that were installed last year to bring the river under the new road. After the excavation of Area 1, the culverts will be filled and buried in place. On the right, a trickle of water now follows under the new bridge in a small channel down the center of the new riverbed. As the ground cover develops and this area becomes green, it looks more natural and pleasant.
