As part of the Superfund process, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) has written a Public Health Assessment report for the Eastland Woolen Mill Site. The report is intended to assess potential public health effects attributable to the former Eastland Woolen Mill. Some of you may remember when ATSDR initiated the process with a visit and informational meeting in Corinna in November 1999.

Officials of the ATSDR will be in Corinna on September 25 to discuss the report and answer questions from the public. The meeting will be at the Fire Station Annex at 6:00  p.m.

The ATSDR has provided The Cattail Press with a copy of the 58 page report file in PDF format. Those interested may download the file for viewing. You must have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to read the report. If you don't already have it, click the link to download and install the free Acrobat Reader software.
